A detailed analysis will form the basis for specific soil fertility and identify the ameliorant required to correct physical or chemical soil imbalances. The soil is the medium which drives agricultural production, understanding it is imperative to maximising potential. Apal provide services to all agricultural and horticultural industries.

Apal Soil testing

Apal offers a wide variety of soil analysis groups to cover the needs of all regions and crops in Australia. If you have a specific project for which our test analysis groups don't suit your needs, we can also provide you with a custom quote. Apal provide the innovative option of choosing how your data output is presented. A technical template for those with a high level of interpretation knowledge and a premium option converted into easily understood units (ppm and/or mg/kg) and graphical displays for interpretation of soil cations and balance.

Soil tests values are presented in a graphical display allowing simple identification of nutrient deficiencies/excesses, identifying crop specific target ranges. Cations are reported in c.mol/kg.

Premium

Soil test values are presented in graphical display allowing simple identification of nutrient deficiencies/excesses, identifying crop specific target ranges. Further calculations are applied to convert your results from c.mol/kg to ppm (mg/kg) for simple nutritional planning and application of amendments. A graphical display of your eCEC percentages (Base saturation modelling), allows you to compare your soil against a balanced soil, allowing investigation into nutrient availability, excesses and soil structure. The second page of the premium report converts soil cations to kg/ha of nutrient using a referenced assumed bulk density.

Please see our product services/pricelist for more details. Other testing groups include Deep soil, DGT Phosphorus. Additionally BSES options will be available in the very near future. Customised tests are also available if our range of test groups do not meet your needs.
